We wandered through Memphis and saw the colossal statue of Ramses II , which was mind-blowing in scale and detail . The guide had so much info , my brain nearly exploded – in a good way . Sakkara's Step Pyramid was fascinating too , totally different in style from Giza's giants . The bus was modern , with air conditioning that saved our lives . Highly engaging , deeply informative , and with just enough free time to grab a mango juice before heading back .
